American Jobs Act

·           The American Jobs Act was written by the Obama Administration and unveiled in a high-profile speech by the President before a joint session of Congress on September 8th, 2011.  The Act includes $447 billion over ten years to pay for temporary stimulus spending, new job training programs, unemployment insurance, and temporary tax reductions. The bill includes a payroll tax cut for employees and employers. And, it offers a tax credit to businesses that hire individuals who have been unemployed for more than six months. It also focuses spending on "shovel-ready" infrastructure projects like: Roads, railways, waterways, ports, and airports to "modernize" America. There are many Pros and Cons for each side of this bill, and I'm just going to tell you about some of the pros. Some of the Pros include, that the jobs act could create over 100,00 jobs a month, the American Jobs Act allows small businesses to grow/hire, and finally it gets works a job while re-building a newer america. With this Jobs Act, it could create 100,000 jobs a month over the next year with this bill. And potentially the feds could add an extra 15,000 jobs a month over the next 2 years. Estimation provided by the best marketing analysts concluded that the plan  would increase growth by 1.9 points and would add a total of 1.5million jobs. It is also projected that the plan would add roughly 1.25 percentage points to the GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and create and additional 1.3million jobs in 2012. Provided this plan goes through, it'll drastically lower unemployment in the U.S., and rates from 8.6 ( Our current un-employment rate) will decrease, and it will put our economy back on its feet. The American Jobs Act reduces taxes allowing small businesses to grow /hire. The presidents solution will cut half the taxes paid by the businesses after the first 5 million dollars in payroll, targeting  the benefits of 98% of the firms. Reforms and Regulates reduction is to help entrepreneurs and small business access capital. Thus letting businesses grow will help the economy get back into shape. Lastly one of the Pros are, that this bill gets workers jobs while re-building a newer america. This bill will prevent 280,000 teacher layoffs, while keeping cops and firefighters on the job. Immediate investment in infrastructure and a bipartisan  National Infrastructure  Bank, will modernize our roads, railroads, airports, and waterways while putting hundreds of thousands of workers back on the job. This can create more jobs ,lower unemployment, which creates a better place for living.

Stereotypes

In a world as great as ours, its rather unfortunate that our world runs on oil. And stereotypes.Stereotypes can be perceived as bad...or just as good. Stereotypes usually have to do with race, but stereotyping and being racist are two different things. They can also be strong judgement towards a particular race Stereotyping is usually something done to judge a person. For example. If you're Asian, you get good grades. It doesn't matter if a few Asians don't meet that standard, due to the fact that the majority do. Most of stereotypes out there are just based off of race and physical attributes and are taken as a bad thing to say. At the other end of the spectrum, the same stereotypes taken as a bad thing, can be taken as a good thing. Take that example in the beginning, now say that you are Asian, makes you feel good about your race, and your culture doesn't it? Even though that statement may not be true.A lot of people out there, merely open themselves out to stereotyping, and do not do anything to stop it. If you laugh at a stereotype directed at your race, you basically inviting someone to make fun of you. Which in these days, seems to be the likely reason as to why the number of stereotypes are rising. That's not all that stereotyping does. It also changes the perspective and the way you begin to see things. Once you understand, and learn a few cliché phrases, it makes you an active thinker. When you see a specific race, you seem to wonder whether those stereotypes are true about those people. And day by day you wonder,  how these stereotypes came to be. You look at people in a different way, and you start to guess what that person is like, and if those stereotypes about them (their race) are true. Thus, through all of these questions, you get your answers, in forms of stereotypes.

Americans in America?

Who has ever heard of Americans being in America? I,for one have. In america, in every other house you see a person with another nationality. In schools you see less than 50-70 american students. My definition of American is unlike the one given in the dictionary. In the dictionary its definition is being a citizen of America. My definition of that is through ancestral means. America was just a piece of land waiting to be discovered. But before anyone else came, there were Natives originating form Asia crossing from the land bridge by Russia and Alaska. Thus, the Native Americans. After America was discovered, it was inhabitied by Britishers, the Irish, and others from Europe.Nowadays you mistake people for Americans due to their skin color. If there Ancestor was in america 234 years ago. They are the real colors of U.S., the patriotic leaders. Those who are from another country but are a citizen of U.S are not true. They celebrate their home countries independence with greater pride than of that of U.S.. That itself is normal, the people from other countries are just out here to live a better life, trying to fit in to the American Dream. And why shouldn't they? It works for every other country, if you go to china you find Chinese, if you go to India you find Indians, and if you go to America, you find everyone.

Coexistence

Tornadoes hitting hard in Joplin killing over 100 people, taking houses right out of the ground. Osama Bin Laden being killed under a special operation from the U.S. 30+ Chilean miners rescued from under the ground after 69 days. The grand arrival of the Apple Ipad becoming a big event because over 3 million of these tablets like devices was sold in an 80 day period. The South African World Cup for Soccer being quite a hit, with Spain claiming the title. The Cricket World Cup with India Re-Claiming the trophy after 28 years. You’ve heard about this next one Wikileaks leaking over 600 thousand videos, documents, and articles, most of it being political. The devastation in Japan with an earthquake that also triggered a Tsunami making the condition there horrible. Massive protests in the Middle East about the political leaders that have been in command for more than three decades. Cell phones causing brain tumor and other problems in health. And then of course there is Facebook, with over 500 million active users, the top online communications service. Thus leading us into Life, where the un-expected is now expected, where one thing leads to another, and why an event causes more events to happen.

Summer

Summer is here,
Get ready to run,
The second the bell rings, we’re going to disappear
Go straight home and begin the fun,
Through those ninety days, silence is broken
The air filled again with sounds,
Summer is the token to relax, and enjoy,
People playing Hare & Hounds,
A few months later,
The sight of school is not a pretty one at all
You look for a savior from this mess,
Here comes stress.

One Man Song....

Quite recently I came across an article that was quite mind-blowing. A guy by the name of Mike Tompkins has this incredible talent. He is an A Capella Singer. Which means that only one person sings a song with all of the background music by beat-boxing. This type of talent takes a lot of time as you have to play each part separately. For example. If he is playing Dynamite By Taio Cruz, he has to play the bass sound throughout the song. Then he moves onto another part and then combines all of the videos into one big video. The sound may seem off by a bit in the back round but it is pretty close all-in-all. Here is a video of him singing/beatboxing on Dynamite CLICK ME.
